Society, Dating and Relationships

Dating and Relationships between man and woman is an age old tradition that has accompanied mankind throughout the history of our race, it is responsible for the continuity of our race and is probably the reason you exist today. Dating and Relationships is social activity that is between a man and a woman. Dating usually involves social activity between the couples that have been pre mutually agreed, dating usually happens between a couple or any two people that think they are either ready for marriage or are preparing for marriage.

Dating and Relationships

The protocol and procedure for dating and relationships varies differently from culture to culture across different countries and traditions but nevertheless the main aim of the functions remain fairly similar, dating is a form of courtship in humans where we are trying to judge the compatibility of the prospective partner as a spouse, and that is the major reason for dating and relationships, although there are many other reasons people might have it usually revolves around marriage.

Dating and Relationships in the World

Taking a look back in time, dating and relationships in our society has not always been the way it appears to be in today’s world, dating in some contexts is even considered to be a fairly recent part of our society and yes this can be said to be true because of the evolution of behaviour in our society, the individuals nowadays in our society act very differently from many of our ancestors.

Marriage for Muslims within Islam is a legal bonding between two people, it is a mutual agreement that the two people are going to become legally bound and develop a kinship, and this is usually the aim of relationships.

The nature of Humans in Dating and Relationships

Because we tend to want to reproduce and pass on our genes, we are in constant search for a mate even when we do not realize it. Evidence of this is present in many of our actions that tend to attract the opposite sex like trying to look pretty to impress people, even our nature promotes this. During puberty our blood stream is flooded with testosterone or oestrogen depending on if we are male or female and these chemicals are called sex hormones and they have significant roles to play in our development into adulthood. These sex hormones develop secondary sex characteristics in us humans and these cause changes like enlargement of sex organs, growth and development of muscle tissue and other significant changes in men and in women it facilitates the growth of the pelvic girdle, and breasts and other significant changes. These changes are not coincidental these changes are our body’s way of trying to attract the opposite sex and prepare us for reproduction.

We go through Dating and Relationships that we may be able to pass on our genes successfully to the next generation. In Islam Dating is Haram thats why Marriage is a must for a Single Muslim Man or Woman.
